Wines

Highly appreciated and renowned, Botticino D.O.C. and Capriano del Colle D.O.C. are a kind of local wines produced along the wine and gastronomy route which wends its way from the most northerly area of the province of Brescia, in the pre-alps, to the beginning of the south eastern plains: the Lombard Hills Wine Route. The itinerary begans at the "Pusterla vineyard": the largest urban vineyard in Europe. The wine route takes its name, and its branding, from the Lombard section of the Civic Museum, how to the precious rooster weathernave commissioned by Bishop Ramperto for the bell tower of the Church of San Faustino.
